This site will introduce you to a variety of people and places from Jamaica's history.
The first week introduces a group of well-known Kingston 'characters' from the years before World War I. Some would now be called 'street people', while others were working Jamaicans, trying to earn a livelihood.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . .
The second week continues to describe people and places in pre-1914 Kingston.

'Tomorrow people, where is your past?
Tomorrow people, how long will you last?'
